We seek knowledge from books and the web, and pay specialists for individual consultations. But for many work and life issues, people don’t proactively seek personalized advice from others or are not skilled at it, so they needlessly make inferior decisions.

Drawing on experiences as an observer, traveler, father, academic scientist, and software internet entrepreneur and CEO, I’ll offer glimpses, from my book of the same title, of end-to-end advice-seeking and how to do it right.
